Hundreds of visitors at the Bebra intercultural festival.

On the 11th and 12th June, hundreds of visitors followed the invitation of the Turkish-Islamic cultural association to the two-days cultural festival Kermes in the town hall market. Within the multicultural context of the “Festival for All”, the focus was on cultural exchange, different traditional food encounters, dance and music, as it also witnessed by the exhibition of the local talent Adriano Sunel. The manifestation, that was already organised in 2018, returns after few years of stop due to the pandemic with a good participation, which also realises the intention of the president of the Turkish-Islamic Cultural Association, Hamza Dönertas, who declared before the start of festival: “We would like to make this festival a day of encounter and exchange with our fellow citizens, celebrate together and have a lot of fun at the same time”.
