On the 25th October 2022, Professor Luciano Perondi and Dr. Marco Limani, lecturers at the Venice University Institute of Architecture (IUAV) and experts in design-thinking strategies, held a training session for PISTE team members on the planning of design-thinking and co-design workshops, by explaining the main theoretical and historical foundations of design-thinking and providing concrete examples of how to proceed in the practice. After the training, a Q&A session has also taken place allowing PISTE team members to think how to apply the models they presented in the project.
This training was a preliminary step for the Work Package 4, which is now getting to its heart with the planning and organisation of workhsops in each field. These workshops involve local stakeholders and experts to discuss challenges and opportunities of immigrants’ political participation in Eureopan Small and Medium Sized Towns and their results will flow in the redaction of a White Paper on Immigrants’ Political Participation in SMSTs in Europe, which will be one of the main outputs of the project.
