A new publication based on fieldwork data from the PISTE project has just been published in the Open Access journal “Social Inclusion”. The article, written by PISTE-involved researchers Alba Angelucci, Gül Ince-Beqo, and Fabio De Blasis, is titled Migrants’ Participation and Migration Governance Amidst Hostility in Small Localities: An Italian Case Study, and it is part of the thematic issue Public Participation Amidst Hostility: When the Uninvited Shape Matters of Collective Concern. Other than contributing to the dissemination of PISTE results, the article expands them providing deeper academic insights on the policy-oriented production of the project, and it directly contributes to the growing debate on migration within Small and Medium-Sized Towns, using qualitative fieldwork in an Italian town as the entry point. The paper is freely accessible on the publisher website (link above), so you can immediately download it and read it.
