The PISTE National Policy Brief – Germany focuses on how Small- and Medium-Sized Towns in the State of Hesse can enhance the civic and political participation of people with immigrant background at the local level. It is based on the field research within the municipality of Bebra and on an extensive desk research on most used tools for the participation of people with immigrant background in Germany, always keeping in mind the specific characteristics of Small- and Medium-Sized Towns.
